Welcome to the workshop-page of Stormworks Extra - Mars Addition.

This mod adds the new planet Mars under the Moon, which can be reached by flying through a hole on the Moon.

---

Olympus Mons:

The Olympus Mons, located on Mars, is the largest mountain in the entire Solar System. This volcano rises about 22 km (in real life) above the surrounding plains and stretches over 600 km in diameter.
Although it is now inactive, Olympus Mons provides strong evidence that Mars once experienced significant volcanic and geological activity in its past.

---

Valles Marineris:

The Valles Marineris is the largest canyon system in the entire Solar System, stretching over 4,000 km in length in real life. It is one of the most interesting geological features both on Mars and within Stormworks Space, even surpassing massive craters like the Gorillaa Mare in length.

With its vast and relatively flat regions, it provides an ideal location for crewed landings and offers a great first look on the Martian surface.

Please note that this mod is still a work in progress. If you have any feedback or ideas, feel free to share them on the DeltaV Modding Discord or by leaving a comment. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

---

Future:

In the future, we'll add more features such as rovers and points of interest (like cave systems) to the Martian surface, providing more reasons to explore and visit it.

Also, this mod isn't the only one of it's kind. Check out our other Mods:
